Virtual Consultations – What are they and what do they involve?
2020 brought some changes in the way we all work on a day-to-day basis.
Due to social distancing restrictions being enforced during the Corona virus pandemic, many of us have had to adjust to utilising technology and the different platforms it offers us.
At The Lynton Clinic we pride our selves in customer care, and so whilst we are not able to meet with you face to face to discuss your needs and concerns, we had to find away to be there for our clients, new and existing, which was safe and convenient.
With that in mind we have now introduced FREE Virtual consultations.
What is a Virtual consultation?
How many of us have joined in with online family quizzes during lockdown? Well, it isn’t much different!
A virtual consultation allows us to provide consultations via video. All you need is a laptop/PC, tablet, or smartphone and we can carry the call out via Zoom, Facetime and WhatsApp call.
What happens during a Virtual Consultation?
You will first be sent an online consultation form via email to complete before your appointment time. This allows us to get an understanding of what you would like to discuss and gives us an insight into you background; previous treatments, medical background etc.
During the virtual consultation, we can discuss any concerns, if appropriate you can show us the area of concern and then we can discuss what treatments would be suitable, advise you the best treatment plan and homecare required to achieve optimum results.
Many of our treatment require a patch test prior to the first full treatment. This would be booked first and then after one week we can start your first full treatment. Patch tests are charged at £25 however this is redeemed against purchase of treatment or products.
How do I book a Virtual Consultation?
- Simply visit our website and go to contact us and book a consultation. Here you can select your preferred date and time. In the notes let us know if you would prefer a video call or phone call.
- One of our clinicians will contact you to confirm your booking.
- Our laser and skincare expert will call at the arranged time. Following your consultation, if required, we will then schedule a date and time for a patch test (once current lockdown restrictions have been lifted).
- If you have a skincare consultation, your skincare products will be sent straight to your door, with no delivery charges, for you to start your at-home treatment regimen.
